Fort Lauderdale, FL, January 13, 2019 — Nader Anise arrived Sunday night at the St. Luke’s ACOF meeting in Deerfield Beach, FL with monastic-themed gifts in hand. Speaking to the group on “The Life of St. Anthony and Becoming an Image of God,” Anise used the example of St. Anthony the Great to illustrate how a Christian should be the image of God. He concluded the talk with several fun rounds of Desert Fathers trivia, at the end of which Fr. Suriel Constandi awarded the prizes.

The inaugural annual day will take place on June 1, 2019. In the presence of five bishops and nearly 30 priests at St. Reweis Coptic Orthodox Church, Anise provided key details about how the special day can be celebrated in order to impact Copts and non-Copts worldwide.The event aired live on the Coptic network, CYC.
Fort Lauderdale, FL, November 26, 2018 — Global Coptic Day Co-Founders, His Grace Bishop Youssef and Nader Anise, presented an icon of the Holy Family’s Flight into Egypt to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II yesterday. The joyful occasion took place at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbasiyya, Cairo, after the ordination of five new bishops. The icon is symbolic of the first ever Global Coptic Day to be celebrated on June 1, 2019. It is the same day on which the Coptic Orthodox Church celebrates the feast of our Lord Jesus Christ’s entry into Egypt (with St. Mary and St. Joseph the Carpenter). Created by Egyptian iconographer Osama Moris, the icon was graciously accepted by His Holiness and admired by him for its beauty and for being Egyptian made.
Fort Lauderdale, FL, November 20, 2018 — Coptic Chamber head, Nader Anise, conducted meetings today with Coptic Orthodox Church leaders to discuss the establishment of Global Coptic Day for the Coptic Orthodox Church. In the Papal Meeting Hall (Logos), Anise made a one-hour presentation on all aspects of Global Coptic Day to numerous members of the Holy Synod who, thereafter, offered their resounding support. Shortly thereafter, Anise met privately with His Holiness Pope Tawadros II who lauded the idea, blessed it and enthusiastically said to move ahead. The first ever Global Coptic Day will take place on June 1, 2019.
Fort Lauderdale, FL, October 8, 2018 — On Sunday, October 7, 2018, celebrating the Silver Jubilee of the establishment of the Southern US Diocese of the Coptic Orthodox Church, the Founder of the Coptic Chamber, Nader Anise, spoke about the Diaconate (deaconship) in the SUSCopts Diocese. Fort Lauderdale, FL, October, 6, 2018 — Tonight Nader Anise kicked off the re-launch of the St. Moses the Strong College and Graduates Meeting at St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church in Delray Beach, FL. Nader’s talk, titled “Don’t Burn the Popcorn,” was attended by nearly dozens of college students and grads. Also in attendance was Fr. Mikhail Aziz Abdou, shepherd of St. Mary’s. “”When I was asked to speak, I couldn’t say no,” Anise said. “They had me at ‘St. Moses the Strong.'”
