PRIVACY POLICY

We take privacy seriously. Our website, www.copticchamber.com, is the property of the Coptic American Chamber of Commerce. This statement governs the privacy practices used on all CACC websites.

Collection and Disclosing Information

The CACC websites have many sections that are open to all users, with no registration required. For these sections, our Web servers contain no software that automatically tracks email addresses of users. However, our web server does track domain names, web browser type and version and information regarding the nature and extent of our website’s usage.

Member listings are available on our website by accessing the Member Directory. This information is published as a member benefit and is provided by individual members. Member verifications may be done periodically throughout the year to ensure we have the latest and most updated information.

We have a third party relationship with our credit card processing companies. Our contract with these companies requires them to comply with governing law concerning the safeguarding of personal information, and prohibit them from using personal information except for the purpose of providing processing services.

We may share non-personal, non-individual information in aggregate with our vendors and partners who agree to use such information for research purposes only, such as analysis of traffic patterns, sales volume, and other site information.

Users are not required to disclose any personal information in order to view our site. The CACC may gather some personal identifiable information when it is voluntarily submitted by the user. The types of information collected may include your name, email address, phone number, and postal address. This information is used for its intended purpose, and to better serve the users. All personally identifiable information obtained from users is treated with great care in order to protect your privacy and security. The management of the CACC authorizes only trained and qualified employees to access the information you choose to provide. The information volunteered is used solely by the CACC and will not be shared with unrelated outside parties.

From time to time, we may use your address, phone number or e-mail address to provide you with updates and other information we think may be of interest to you. Your ability to opt-out of such information is discussed below.

We collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email. We do not sell email addresses to any third party.

We also collect information volunteered by users in relation to an online survey and/or site registrations. This information is kept confidential by the CACC and is not used for purposes outside of the intent of the survey or registration form.

Should you choose to inquire about an employment opportunity made available online by the CACC, your contact information and/or resume will only be used by Human Resources in considering you for the specified employment opportunity. All information received will be kept confidential.
