Leaving The Jar is a faith-based nonprofit combating human trafficking through prevention, intervention, and long-term restoration in the U.S., Egypt, Zambia, and Kenya. We provide trauma-informed, holistic care to survivors and vulnerable communities. Our Well of Hope Home, currently in the Virginia licensing process, is being developed as a long-term safe home for survivors. In Egypt, we support over 600 students and families through education assistance, mentorship, therapy, family support, and an annual conference, addressing vulnerabilities such as poverty, food insecurity, unstable housing, illness, and limited access to mental health care. In Zambia, we empower women through counseling, monthly support, and small business start-ups. Leaving The Jar reflects the Samaritan woman’s story of healing and restored identity.
